Getting started
What is QSCS?
QSCS is a substrate for coordinating distributed state. Its web integration can serve eligible cached responses and transfer changes when a client has a matching baseline.
Do I have to rebuild my application?
No. Start by placing QSCS in front of an existing origin. Your application and database can remain behind the ingress layer. See the Integration page for the request path.
How do I get started?
Create an account, verify your email, then add your first node and domain in the control panel.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 2 nodes, 1 domain and 1 origin. The Pricing page lists the current monthly plans.
State and deployment
Does every request become a delta?
No. A cold client or a missing baseline needs a full response. Eligible later responses can use a delta or no-change result. Cache policy and application behaviour still matter.
Can I deploy across regions?
Yes. Configure participating nodes, domain membership, peer addresses and Master/Fallback roles to suit your deployment.
What happens if an origin changes?
The substrate can update its response baseline and propagate eligible changes. Requests that cannot safely use a cached response must follow the configured origin and cache policies.
Does QSCS replace my database?
No. The existing web integration works with your application and database. It coordinates delivery and replicated state around those systems.
Identity and security
How does identity work?
Protected portal requests are signed by a client keypair. The server verifies the signature and the account binding before applying account-scoped permissions.
Are private keys sent to the server?
The signing private key stays on the client. Public keys and signatures let the service verify requests without receiving that private key.
Can organisations see each other’s infrastructure?
Sharing an organisation contact group does not grant access to another account’s infrastructure. Each account chooses which alert recipients to use.
Can I monitor node and origin health?
Yes. SpookVis and the dashboard show available monitoring data. Settings → Notifications lets you configure email alerts and recovery messages.
